A single-story airport terminal spanning 850 square meters, designed with a structural system that includes reinforced concrete columns, beams, and slab-on-grade flooring. The roof structure is supported by a steel truss system, optimized for large clear spans to accommodate open interior spaces and high ceilings. The foundation system consists of reinforced concrete pad footings and strip footings, tailored to suit the site’s soil conditions. The design incorporates lateral load-resisting systems to ensure stability under wind and seismic forces, complying with applicable aviation and safety codes.
Role
Preliminary design assessment of the existing steel frames to check the current design conditions. Structural analysis and design calculations for all steels and reinforcements where required. Steel connection designs and verifications. Quantity, weight of each part of additional steel and modeling by design program.
