Project Details
The project involves a residential structure supported by a complex foundation system consisting of retaining walls and concrete piers designed to accommodate varying site elevations and soil conditions. The superstructure utilizes a hybrid system of steel bracing and wood framing to provide both strength and flexibility under lateral loads. All structural components have been analyzed and detailed in accordance with the latest California Building Code (CBC) and applicable seismic design provisions of ASCE 7, ensuring compliance with the state’s stringent safety and performance standards.
